Rented the camping stuff for the weekend and was so perfect. The tent took 2 seconds to set up, sleeping bags were super clean and smelt like washing powder and the table and chairs were super comfy! Thank you so much to the team! If you’re a 2 people group would recommend getting the pack

Alice car rental! The staff are sincerely kind and helpful. They made everything about our experience straight forward, quick and easy. They picked us up at the airport so quickly and drop off was the same. When we enquired about car hire online we had a phone call and email in minutes. Nothing was difficult about hiring a car at all. We could not recommend them more. We will be hiring off them when we visit Darwin! We loved the staff and are so grateful for a simple and enjoyable, stress free experience.

We are always wary of car rentals in the NT due to past negative experiences. Alice Car Rental were fantastic and we would definitely use them again and recommend them to others. They picked us up from the airport, a quick exchange to grab the exact vehicle that we had booked and reasonable pricing. The vehicle had no issues, had 5 pumped up tyres and oil/ water full. Not difficult but rare in our experiences. On return they did another quick exchange then dropped us to the airport. Totally recommend. Very professional

Pamveer was so helpful and kind, helped us sort a rental on the day, and organized a pick up from the airport. We were also able to borrow extra camping gear (esky, table, chairs, blankets) to really make our trip comfortable.
We paid around $1600 for 1 week rental of a newer model hilux with a rooftop tent. The car was new and very clean, and the tent was super easy to set up & pack down. We had 200km limit per day, which was plentiful for our trip.
This is definitely one of the times it feels great to support a small business 🙂 Thank you guys!

The guys at Alice Car Rentals are excellent. I hired a car for a week at a great price. Everything was super easy, they were responsive and easy to get a hold of when I needed to extend my hire. There are no hidden costs in their contract - everything was straight up and down. And the car zoomed around with zero issues.

We had a brilliant experience with Alice Car Rental. Since our plans were flexible, we only booked the day before, and they were incredibly accommodating. Because our trip started on a national holiday, they let us pick up the car the evening before so we could get an early start—they even picked us up from our city hotel instead of the airport!
The owner is super nice and even threw in camping gear (chairs, stove, fridge) for free. While the car was older (350k km), it was "old but gold." In desert conditions, having fewer electronics to malfunction is actually a plus. The rooftop tent was a dream—so quick and easy to set up.
We did have a couple of minor issues with the handbrake and starting the car once or twice, but the rental team had provided us with a portable power bank starter which worked perfectly. We tackled the Mereenie Loop and had the time of our lives. If you want a rugged, honest car for the Red Centre, I definitely recommend them!

We hired a 4x4 car for a 3-day camping trip through the outback.
On arrival we were given the option of upgrading to a car with roof-mounted tent, which was a great decision! Everyone at Alice Car Rental was very helpful, and we were given various additional camping equipment free of charge!

Great service. Family business. Responsive to email or calls. Very helpful, we booked a Toyota with roof top tent and a few bits of camping gear as we had some of our stuff. They lent us a few extra things at no extra cost, dont know if normal but it was handy. Free pick up from airport too. Car is a few years old but did the job perfectly. No complaints. Would recommend.

Highly recommend Alice Rental in Alice Springs! My experience was very positive: airport pick up and drop off were offered for free, and the staff were welcoming, the car was clean and ran perfectly, plus their rates are some of the best value in town.

Alice Car Rental in Alice Springs provided us with a really good small car for our 7 day road trip to Uluru and Kings Canyon (sealed roads only). We had booked a small car and were given a free upgrade as the owner said that the Suzuki Baleno was in better nick for such a remote trip. The car was in excellent condition and we had no issues. We also looked after it.
Their rates are unmatched in Alice. Very reasonable. Their paperwork is a bit loose compared to other rentals I've used before in Australia so I took photos of the agreement as well as of the car at the timeof hire, just in case. However, the people were trustworthy and we had no issues.
They also dropped us to the airport, which is part of their service.The people I dealt with are absolutely lovely.

Alice car rental provided exceptional service to my family on an emotional trip to Alice. He went out of his way to accommodate us, even swapping cars when we needed to. He always answers the phone, he was generous and tolerant of dealing with 7 of us who were frazzled due to unforeseen circumstances. Many business owners should take a page from his book. Exceptional!

We had such a good experience. The airport shuttle worked really smooth and we got a super clean car. Our shuttle driver even gave us some recommendations for our trip. The car itself was in great condition and we had absolutely no issues. On top the price was super fair for three days and way cheaper than the common big chains. Would rent here again!

It was by far the cheapest option I could find in Hobart. The staff is very friendly and always happy to help with any questions or concerns. Everything with the rental was fine from the beginning to the end. After I returned the car, they even drove me to the airport. If I ever will be in Tasmania again, I will rent a car from this company again.

I rented a car from Alice Car Rental during my visit to Tasmania. The rates were reasonable, and the service was generally good. However, the car wasn’t properly cleaned—visibility through the windows was poor, and I had to clean them myself, which impacted my trip. Additionally, the navigation system had issues, and I received little support in resolving it, wasting valuable time. Cars should be thoroughly cleaned and checked before being rented out to ensure a smoother experience for customers.

Absolutely five star service I would rate at 10 out of 10 if we could! What are awesome owner the Indian Guy. He is always answering your phone calls or finding some way of getting back to you love the one on one service. We absolutely loved the Toyota Hilux Ute that we rented.
