To rent a car with us, a full driver's license is required. All Drivers must be at least 23 years of age and 25 years old to rent a 4WD. Overseas licenses are acceptable. An official translation is required if the license is not in English.

If your driver’s license isn’t in English, an official translation or an international driving permit is required. We also need proof of address and a passport for overseas license holders.

It depends on the exact locations within the national parks that you intend to visit. Some of the more popular locations are accessible by sealed road, e.g. Ubirr Rock in Kakadu and Wangi falls in Litchfield. However, some locations in the national parks do require a 4WD to access. These include locations such as Jim-Jim falls and Maguk within Kakadu and the Lost City in Litchfield. Choosing a 4WD gives you the option to go further into the national parks. Without our explicit consent, the vehicles must not be driven further East than Cahills Crossing, south of Mataranka or west of Timber Creek. 

Some roads and areas become inaccessible during the wet season. Please follow the road closure and travel advice issued by the road and national park authorities.

We hold a deposit amount against your debit or credit card. It is normally $500, and is released once the vehicle is returned. It helps us enforce the rental conditions and ensure a timely return of the vehicle. 

We offer two types of excess reduction, partial cover and full cover. Partial cover reduces the customer's liability in case of accidents to $500, whereas full cover reduces the liability to $0.

Yes, additional drivers, roadside assistance, children’s seats and camping equipment can be added to your booking.
